Marcel Allemann: "Pacovis is a powerful partner"
During the European Football Championships EURO 2008, Bell Catering held the overall responsibility for the catering concept in the 16 UBS arenas throughout Switzerland. This is the largest catering contract of all time to have been awarded in Switzerland. Pacovis AG was one of the most important partners of Bell. Marcel Allemann, Head of Catering at Bell, about the challenges involved and the added value offered by Pacovis.

You had overall responsibility for the catering in the UBS Arenas. In which areas were you supported by Pacovis AG?
Marcel Allemann: Pacovis was responsible for the delivery of the complete disposable tableware range. This included the provision of the goods,   subsequent deliveries and warehouse management.

Why did you decide to have Pacovis as your partner?
Marcel Allemann: An event of this size requires powerful partners. We had many enquiries from suppliers. But we needed a partner who could completely cover their area. We have many years of experience of working together with Pacovis. And we could therefore be sure that Pacovis would reliably fulfil all these requirements.

What was the greatest challenge?
Marcel Allemann: Anyone can deliver. But the difficulties at such a major event are guaranteeing functional logistics and complying precisely with time schedules. This was no problem for Pacovis.
